Habarawatta – Anuradapura RO Plant Installation by LCF

It is now time for Sri Lanka to step up and take initiatives to obtain clean water access for all the communities across the island despite the geographic boundaries. Unfortunately, those who suffer the most due to unavailability of safe & clean water are generally belong to the rural communities. They lack access to proper infrastructure, clean water, sanitation, and medical facilities as well.

In response to this, on 29th August, 2018, LCF through ABC T & I (Pvt) Ltd, hand in hand with Foundation of Goodness launched a project in Habarawatta village in Anuradhapura under the patronage of Australian Government. This was extended as a measure of prevention against Chronic Kidney Disease popular in these areas. LCF could contribute their technical expertise for this project through ABC T & I and this project benefited 1,500 villagers including 800 families, availing a treasure to the villagers of Habarawatta, Anuradhapura.
